Come celebrate Sharon's birthday with us on October 25th In honor of our dear friend, fellow crafter's and paper crafting companies have teamed up to create World Fussy Cutting Day. WFCD is a celebration of paper crafting joy and mindfulness, while raising awareness for women's heart health and encouraging crafters to pause, connect, and take care of their hearts - physically and emotionally. We are extremely grateful for the opportunity to celebrate Sharon and raise awareness of women's heart health. As many of you know, Sharon passed away this past January from a heart attack. Fussy cutting was one of her favorite things to do when she was crafting. So much so that her fellow store owners would try to sit next to her whenever they could at events so that she would help them fussy cut their projects. She truly loved her community of crafter's here at Buffalo Stamps & Stuff and her love of fussy cutting and making cards had always been a way for her to relax and unwind.  Let's come together on Sharon's birthday, Saturday, October 25th, to fussy cut our hearts out, share our stories, learn about women's heart health, and connect with other crafters from around the world.

Why World Fussy Cutting Day? Fussy cutting was something that Sharon loved to do. She loved to use her scissors to cut out pretty images and use them in her crafting. For her, it created a sense of calm. And really, that's one of the key pieces of advice for managing your heart heath - find a little bit of serenity and escape from the stresses of the world, even if it's just for a few minutes each day. It's easy to do - and all you need is a pair of scissors and some pretty paper - and you can do it just about anywhere you are. As we get closer to World Fussy Cutting Day, we will be posting some fussy cutting designs that you can download and print. Or you can start searching your stash of paper to find some great patterns to cut and enjoy. Fussy cutting not your thing? Join us to shop and celebrate Sharon. The net proceeds from ALL SALES for this event will be donated to the AHA in Sharon's name. If you're unable to make it into the store on the 25th, we will be accepting donations for the American Heart Association all month long. The event will be held in-store from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. We will have 2 Make-n-Take's available in-store for $5 each. One will feature Sharon's Fussy Cutting Die from Spellbinders and another with fussy cutting. 100% of the proceeds will go to the AHA in Sharon's name. 100% of the net proceeds from sales on 10/25 will be donated to the American Heart Association in Sharon's name. We will also be accepting donations for the American Heart Association. We will have cupcakes in the store to celebrate Sharon's birthday.
