Thank You Thursday!

First and foremost, on behalf of Sharon and all of us here at Buffalo Stamps & Stuff, we'd like to thank everyone who helped make last weekend's Stamp Scrap Art Tour a great success for us. As we have said many times before, WE HAVE THE BEST CUSTOMERS IN THE WORLD!!!

On to new stuff! School starts on Tuesday for many kids in the area and I've hit a great new collection from Simple Stories. Great colors, great for young learners and high school and college students. This collection is also very adaptable to Becky Higgins' Project Life scrapbooking system. I picked up at least one of each for my own high school junior.

Keeping with the back to school theme we have new stamps and matching dies from Taylored Expressions for teachers and students! We have a great section of stamps, dies, embellishments and papers to chronicle your student's first day! Every year I take a photo of  my daughter, her shoes and Vera Bradley bag on the first day. I found this great idea for you really organized scrappers. Don't just take a photo of the first day, mark your calendar now and take a picture on the last day of this year's term. Wait til you see how your child has grown and  the changes that come from another year of growing!

On to another favorite, Halloween! We are starting to get in stamps, papers and  embellishments for Halloween. The new Tim Holtz Distress Glitter has great colors for accenting your Halloween projects, Seedless Grape, Orange Marmalade, and Peeled Paint are just a few. We have Halloween buttons, coordinating baker's twine and great, great papers from Authentique, Doodlebug and lots more.

Did I mention stamps? Well, here are a sampling  of Tim Holtz's Stampers Anonymous collection. We have some great Northwoods images, Impression Obsession, Pink Ink, Stampendous, Darcie's and many, many more!

Disney! Simple Stories has a new Disney line. I really like it! This line has a more sophisticated look, perfect for pictures of adults, older children and non traditional Disney travel photos. I have photos of my best friend and myself when we visited Disney together last year. These papers will be great! As a bonus, they are also adaptable to the Project Life scrapbook system.

Lastly, for your inspiration this week. Dimitra kicked up the Prima paper doll tag that was our make n' take last weekend. I watched as she taught her monthly tag class and experimented with sprays, paints and water spray on a craft mat. It's hard to see but the ribbon has been distressed with the same inks and sprays. the skirt has an underborder of glitter and the skirt has been ruffled. Gorgeous as always.

See you next week with more goodies! DM
