Saturday Supplement...

I'm sitting in on Mike Dywan's Die Cut Workshop. Hiding in the back of the room and listening in! Here are a few photos.

Sharon doing her intro...

Mike's work table! The ladies were thrilled it was as messy as theirs!

Mike explaining his business, how the design and manufacture of dies developed here in the US.

Mona cranking the new machine Mike brought with him. The white pile of doily's at the top of the machine are the background for the floral doily pin everyone made. Below is one.

Here are some of Cheery Lynn's new designs for flowers and some of their Christmas dies.

I wish I was a faster typist because Mike is giving the sandwich combos for all the various machines along with how to emboss using stencils and not the metal Dreamweaver stencils, but the thinner plastic stencils that we carry like the Memory Box, Tim Holtz, Heidi Swapp and more! You should have heard the oohs and aahs! Everyone is asking great questions and they haven't stumped him yet!

One last photo as a sample of flowers made with Cheery Lynn dies makes the rounds. Gorgeous!
We passed the basket around and everyone was very generous in donating to our Christmas Family Fund.  THANK YOU LADIES AND MIKE! Now, Sharon, can you get Mike to give us working employees a private lesson!
