TGIT!

Thank Goodness it's Thursday! It's my mantra for the day! I've had a hellacious week at home so I gleefully came to my happy place today.  We have many customers who stop in on a lunch hour because they are having a stressful day at work or who come in after a doctor's appt. or a mammogram(!) and let go an appreciative sigh - ahhh...when they walk in the door. That's me today, sigh...I'm happy :-)

Lots to tell you, lots to show so lets get on with it. First up is our weekend Die Cut Workshop with Mike Dywan. Mike's company is Cheery Lynn Designs, one our more popular die cut companies. Mike also owns a company that manufactures many, if not all, the dies from other companies we feature. If it says 'Made in the USA' Mike probably makes it! This makes him an expert on dies, die cutting machines, tips and tricks to using and maintaining your dies. We have two sessions on Saturday, August 9. The 1:00 session has one opening and we are starting a wait list. The 3:00 session has four openings and a wait list. HOWEVER, we can take more. If we get enough signups to go over 18-20 for the sessions we will move to the Dots store. More room, more die goodness and more fun so don't let the wait list stop you from signing up! Sign up, bring your problem dies, your die cut machine - Cuttlebug, Big Shot - whatever and have your questions answered, make a great take away project and maybe win a door prize. Mike is asking, in lieu of charging you for the workshop, that you make a donation to our Christmas Family Fund. We hope you can come join us, learn a little something about your dies and have a great time! Call us today.

Some new product, some reminders and some great cards! First up, Little B embellishments...these are so cute; washi tape with shimmer, different widths and holiday styles too!

More from Little B later.

Next up is Art Impressions. The Girlfriends line is getting bigger! We've even got something for the guys, holidays and more. I will have more photos of Art Impressions new stamps next week.
Mona, is this what you and Jim look like on Halloween?

How about some cards? Linda made this great holiday card using several of our Memory Box dies. I'm not usually fond of non-traditional colors, but I love these cards!

These next two cards were created by Alison. I love the variety of materials Alison uses and her design eye. Gorgeous cards done two ways!

Because I want to get this on-line I'm going to stop now and post but I promise a bonus post this weekend. I'll add some photos from Mike's workshops, new product, a Halloween preview, a spring, yes, spring teaser (can you say guest artist?) and we'll see what else! See you next time!
