BSS MONDAY IDEA - DEER IN BLACK AND WHITE

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Monday Idea.

Today's card is a black and white Christmas card, featuring a new beautiful
die cut Prancing Deer, by Sizzix.

I love traditional Christmas colors for cards, but this deer
just begged to be done in silhouette, so I decided to make
a black and white Christmas card.

Stamp - Sentiment - Just Rite Clear Set - CR-03780,
Antique Christmas Tags 1
Deer Die - Alterations by Sizzix
Oval Dies - Spellbinders
Berry Sprigs die-A cute Above IME-092
Fir Tree Branch punch and flower punch - Martha Stewart
Black card front was embossed with Darice Snowflakes
Center oval was embossed with Cuttlebug Swiss Dots
Flower centers are black pearls from Queen and Co.
Deer was stamped all over with Verasmark clear in ink
then covered with black sparkly embossing powder and
heated. (You could also cut him from black glitter paper)
Berry springs were done the same way with WOW white
glittery embossing powder.
Frantage Chunky white embossing enamel in two corners on
black background (hint:  heat from underneath or it will
blow off the paper when you try to do it from the top).

I did this deer on a card in traditional Christmas colors last week on

Which one is your favorite?

Thanks for stopping by today.
Have a great week.
