Shakin' & Bakin' Thursday...

Hey, what's shaking? When I want to show my age I'll use this as a greeting - it's better than, "hey man, groovy!" We've got our Dessert and Stamps event on Sunday so I thought I'd throw a little heads up for that to start the blog today. It's simple, bring your favorite dessert to share along with the recipe, 10 or so, and make cards with us while you're on your sugar high! Here is a sneak peak of a few of the cards we're doing.

As always bring your favorite coloring medium and your basic kit. Sign up soon so that we have enough kits ready for everyone. We'll be starting at 12 and go until 4, cost is $20.

Also, as a reminder, this is our last month of Sunday store hours until the fall. We will be closed on Sunday's for July and August. We resume Sunday hours after Labor Day in Seeptember.

I've been getting a lot of calls asking about our annual Garage Sale. Here's what I know. Yes, we will be doing a garage sale, I've heard the month of July mentioned, but no specific date yet. We are starting to work on our July/August Newsletter and Class Descriptions and we will have a firm date soon.

On to new stuff and some creative ideas. Kaiser has some lovely new papers.

Memory Box has some new dies and stamps and sets.

Some summery Elizabeth Craft stickers.

Lovely Penny Black butterflies.

Dad's Day is coming up.  Do you have the backyard warrior type or does your guy fancy himself the next Rory McElroy?

My hubby is dangerous with any and every tool created and watches golf if he has insomnia...cars, fishing, hunting - even less in his wheelhouse! These stamps and dies from Sweet and Sassy are the closest to his job and his iinterests away from work...the good news is at least he uses a computer now and has grudgingly agreed to use a cell phone!

Or, is couch potato next to his name in the directory...
Any way they come, gotta love'em!

Lastly, we have the new Big Shot Plus. The same basic Big Shot we all love but wth a wider base for extra wide dies and embossing folders.
That's it for this week, See you next week!
