Speaking of feel good ideas, Jannelle has a suggestion. You know we have a 'kindness card' drive for those who might need a little boost. We'd like to do a 'kindness card drive' for Sharon. Just as an encouragement, to show support and to let her know how much she is appreciated and loved. Are you in? Let's flood her with cards of support! We are going to see about posting this request in an email Sharon will not see, but that's going to be a bit trickier. If you know of someone who doesn't read the blog - pass our request on.
I'm waiting on new product photos but until they arrive, I have Sharon's video from yesterday, Wednesday, that she posted on Facebook. Here is the link: April 15 video. Please bear with us, our videos are still a work in progress!
It doesn't look like I'll have new product photos today so how about a little sunny travelogue? The isle of Capri. I'll let most of the photos speak for themselves. It's just nice to see beautiful sunshine, water and people enjoying life. As they say, La Dolce Vita!
The lemons are HUGE! The size of grapefruits or cantaloupes!
My daughter had a pair of sandals made especially for her, right in front of our eyes.
Ana Capri is above the coast's fishing port. You take a car or mini bus up, up, up very twisty, narrow roads to get to Ana Capri. The harbor below is where our hydrofoil brought us to the island from Naples and is the port you see in the several of the other pictures.
I loved the markets, as you can see in a couple of these photos. Here, zucchini flowers, ready for dinner.
There are several different grottos around Capri. The Blue Grotto is the most famous. (We did not go into the Blue Grotto. You have to be rowed into it in a tiny row boat, laying flat in the boat as you are pulled in by a rope line.) The captain of the tour boat we were on went to the outskirts of several of these other grottos. The clarity and color of the water is no exaggeration. It is a beautiful blue.
I will post photos if I get any later today (Thursday, by time I type this). If no photos, we can visit Venice next. It was my favorite Italian city of this trip. Stay Safe, do some coloring and we'll see you soon.
