Winging it Wednesday

If I post this on Wednesday I won’t have any product photos. I do have a little blending pad hack for you. With sixty colors of Distress Ink, you can go through a lot of blending foam pads. Even if you like using blender brushes, there are lots of times a blender tool with a foam pad is preferred  I want to  share how I store my pads and know which is which. I use a white Sharpie paint pen to put the initials of the Distress color on the black felt side of each pad  I store the pads in a snack bag  I have several bags for the various color families. This way I’m not going through pads like water. 

I bought the Taylored Expressions Quad Layered Stencil ‘Mistletoe’ set and did a set on Kraft paper and another on white. This four piece stencil let’s you create four card fronts out of one 8 1/2 X 11 inch paper..

If you get a chance, stop in the store Saturday afternoon and check out Sharon’s Glimmer machine demonstration. She will probably start after 1:00 as there is a morning class with Kim.
