What a great way to start 2022, a Saturday video by Sharon! You will find the video HERE.
To follow up on some of the things Sharon talked about, I love the Pink Fresh layered stencil Sharon demonstrated. I used the Taylored Expressions Mistletoe four layered stencil for most of my Christmas cards. These stencils are great if you are not a fan of coloring but want a variety of color on your cards. Also, the opportunity to add another medium to your cards like the glitter paste Sharon uses is easy and gives your cards an extra level of pizazz.
I was happy to hear that Sharon will be continuing the dual class options of in-store and ZOOM. It’s a little challenging to conduct a dual class but I like it. It’s great when we find out we’ve got folks from other locations in the country who enjoy our classes, videos and store!
In that same vein Sharon’s announcement that she will be doing our annual Super Bowl party, Winter Stamp Camp, and Maker Mania in the first two months of 2022 makes it a jam packed way to keep the creativity going.
Sharon’s other big announcement about her new Die Discount Program was a new one for me but a great idea for you all! Briefly, the program looks like it will work like this, membership is for a year, beginning now in January. For $79.99/yr. you will get 15% off ANY die you purchase. ALL dies are eligible! There is also a bonus for items directly related to the die like a stencil or stamp set. Sharon is still finalize the terms of this program and we will post the details when set on the website, here on the blog and, I’m sure, in an email to you all.
That’s it for me for today. I slept in this morning to start the new year off in a slow and easy manner which I hope will carry through for the year. In the immortal words of Philip Esterhause from Hill Street Blues, “Let’s be careful out there.” We can kick Covid to the curb this year. Stay Safe, mask up, protect yourself and those around you and we will get this done.
My funny for today was taken directly from one of our customer’s FB post, ain’t it the truth!
