A Big Thank You

I'd like to start today's post with an update on our Christmas raffle. This year thanks to a very generous donation from the Vera Bradley Store at the Niagara Outlets, we had a gorgeous large tote with a smaller bag that held a variety of stamping and scrapbook supplies to raffle off. The winner of the bag was Dawn Cyman and we collected a very nice sum of money. In the past we would donate the proceeds along with food, clothing and toys from a wish list for a needy family in the western NY area. Along with everything else these last year, its been a challenge to what we have done in the past.

This year Sharon identified a charity called Sleep in Heavenly Peace, a non-profit that provides beds for children in the Buffalo area. As a mother and a grandmother of two young girls, the idea that a child did not have a bed to sleep in really struck a chord with Sharon. This week we received a lovely thank note from Sleep in Heavenly Peace.

There was an additional handwritten note which also expresses our thanks to you, our customers:

"It is thoughtful people like you that make this all possible. Thank you!"

On to Wednesday's Facebook video. You will find it HERE.  I have a few photos from Sharon's Valentine's Day supply display.

I also have a new class to share. This is a sweet window card class. Once you learn the basic construction you can create your own personalized cards. Dates and times are on the website.

Senior-itis has struck again. I can't remember if I already posted this funny. Again, its so true for me!

That's all for today. I'll be back on Saturday with the next video. It looks like we are in line for another dose of snow on Thursday so please,  hang out and use the the falling snow as a background for being crafty and making cards or scrapbook pages of whatever. Please stay warm, STAY SAFE and I'll see you again soon.
