Happy Monday Everyone!

I hope that everyone had a good weekend! It is hard to believe that this coming weekend is the Super Bowl. I am not sure if I will be watching it this year but, I would like to see the commercials. Maybe I will watch a little while I work on my new classes for March 😀.

Since next Monday is Valentine's Day, I decided to do one last Valentine card before I switch over to St. Patrick's Day and spring!

I decided to try to do a Gatefold card featuring a stamp set from Photo Play called Floral Heart. It may be difficult to see in the photo, but I used a background stamp from My Favorite Things that look like hand-drawn horizontal lines. The dimensions for the card base is 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" then it was scored at 2 1/4'' on both ends. I glued only half of the heart on the left side front panel so both ends open.

For the inside, I matted a coordinating pink layer (4"x 5 1/2") and then a white layer (3 1/2"x 5") which has a sentiment from the Photo Play set. I used Spun Sugar Distress Ink to stamp a small flower image on the white layer.

I may change a few things the next time I do a Gatefold card, like maybe additional panels on the front. Maybe I will try to do another one soon!

Supplies:

--Photo Play Floral Heart stamp and die

I hope everyone has a great week!!
