Facebook Saturday

A quick post with a lot of photos. I’ve already asked Jessica to post all of this week’s videos to YouTube so check them out later today or this weekend. I’ll try and keep the ‘talking’ to a dull roar. First up is W+9. Sharon shows how to create the background on the card on the right using a rubber pad and your dies without cutting. My favorite is the bird die set.

Taylored Expressions has a mini slimline trifold window die. Here is a great pairing.

Another finished card from Lawn Fawn.

A new company from New Zealand, 3Quarter. Three beautiful paper collections  all are doubled sided.

Tool time! A must for everyone who uses glues that may leave a residue outside your glue lines. This eraser that isn’t a true eraser, will help you gently remove that adhesive residue. I’ve had mine for over 20 years!

Pink and Main! Missing in these photos is its new embossing duster tool. A refillable option, this duster is perfect for areas large and small and along with edges when making shaker cards.  Also, a box die, a big words die with shadow along with birthday stamps and candle dies.

Sharon mentioned Pretty Pink Posh has a new release coming up. Here’s two restocks of popular items.

A new funky edged die set from Studio Light.

Manly paper pack.

Many of us have more than one crafting hobby. For you knitters out there, here you go.

Next up is a guest customer project. One of our customers, I’ll just call her ‘L’, made this gorgeous tag book using 49th and Market’s Spectrum ‘Sherbert’ collections along with a variety of Elizabeth Craft’s die sets, die cuts, some paints, inks textures and more!

Back in stock, printed vellum accent sheets.

This is a sweet die from Studio Light. Textured edges in a tag in long form. Remember, you can use these on regular sized cards. You aren’t limited to slim line designs. I imagine Madam’L’ of the tag album would really like this die set, just suggest…er, saying.

Also from Pink and Main a speedy and cute idea for kids cards. This is a card kit that comes with everything you need from bling  to envelopes. It has an idea page and would be a fun project for a child to be able to make his or her own cards.

Long before foiling machines, we had foiling using a laminator. Toner based foiling needs heat and pressure. That’s the only thing it has in common with today’s foiling or glimmer machines. Sharon ‘attempts’ (and I use that term advisedly) to show you the differences in the techniques and the supplies used. I regret to say I was of no help even though I taught a class (or two) using this method. The joys of Live video! You need to watch to see how this all turns out.

Another new embossing folder from Lisa Horton Crafts.

My funny for today, yes I found a few more along with ‘This is not a good look’ for your wedding cake photos, for all those spring and summer brides this year.

Talk about an indecisive bride!

Have a great weekend and week and I’ll be back after Wednesday’s video. Enjoy Kim’s inspiration post on Monday and lastly, Stay Safe everyone.
