Don't you just love electronics and computers and tablets and phones, especially the ones that talk to each other? They have all made me incredibly lazy in my old age. So when I change from my tablet to my computer, and it isn't exactly the same keystrokes, I get frustrated, argh! That's my vent for the day. I started to watch Saturday's video on my computer (my OLD computer, at least we have that in common) and I wanted to find out how to take a screen shot like I do on my tablet so I can share with you. Well, couldn't figure it out, couldn't find directions on my phone while watching and then the video feed just cut out and said the video had ended! I give up! Later when I went to check the video, nothing is there! Friday’s video is the last video so I have no idea what happened.
ANYWAY...We have a lot for you today starting with shots of the Concord and 9th folding 3-D card die and samples Mona demonstrated on Friday. Mona made the spaceship and the village with fireworks cards using Concord and 9th products. Kim made the spring scene card using MFT stamps and dies.
This is the basic die. It forms a 'box' shape of sort when assembled. The rounded piece at the top makes the back and side walls of the card.
Each 'ledge' of the die that you used to add images is a slightly smaller size than the next giving you a variety of heights to add your images to.
For the outer space card Mona used this set from Concord and 9th along with the following stamp set for the wording and for the star highlights on the background, ledges and moon.
This card folds flat and as long as your internal elements don't go higher than the backside die, it will fit into a standard A2 envelope.
In ths overhead shot you can see the different 'ledges' in this card. You can use one, two or all three ledges or only one or two - whatever suits your design the best. Check out the video for how to assemble these pieces. It really is easy, promise.
The only thing I have from Saturday’s video is this photo of what Sharon planned to show!
Next up, July 4th is not that far away. It’s one of our favorite holidays to create and celebrate. Below is a sampling of products and ideas for your holiday celebrations.

In other news, Maker Mania 6 is scheduled for September 9-11, 2022. Sharon needs to turn her numbers in by June 25th. New this time, they have announced the companies featured in MM6 ahead of the event. Drumroll pleaseš„ Sizzix and 49th and Market! Sharon is VERY excited! This will be her kind of box! Just to update those who aren't aware, the cost of the box is $99 + shipping. Your box will be filled with goodies from both companies. The participating stores will show you inspiration by demoing at least two cards/scrapbook ideas/paper project featuring what is in your box. Sharon usually does something different than a scrapbook page (creativity is her jam!) and usually does another project or card idea. Joining MM6 gives you access to ALL the videos from every store participating and this time we have 21 stores including stores from the UK and Australia! You do not have to watch the videos live, you will have access through MM6 to watch the videos whenever you want, how ever many times you want, for unlimited time!
Here's the catch - This is a closed Facebook group. You need to join Facebook to participate and gain access to all things MM6. This does not mean you need to participate in all things Facebook. You can be a very private entity, joining only this group. You do not have to enter any personal information on FB. you choose not to share. You can be totally anonymous. I have several friends who NEVER post, NEVER share and NEVER add any private info on their FB accounts. They restrict access, do not post their geo location, birthdates, likes, photos etc. It can be done. You will also have access to directions for every project that you can download and print! Once the June 25 date passes, you are out of luck. We do not purchase extra kits! Consider joining for a great start to the fall season!
Please check out Wednesday, Friday and Saturday(If posted) videos on YouTube later today. We will prompt Jessica to post to our YouTube channel. Hit the subscribe button below any of the videos to give us a boost and to (hopefully) get a prompt when new videos are posted.
My funny for the day. I feel like I’m both versions of this.
That's it for today. Have a crafty good week everyone and Stay Safe.
