Saturday is Fun Day!

Monday Night Update: Watching the Bills pounding the Titans! GO BILLS!

Saturday: I was watching in the background as Sharon and Mona did their Facebook posts on Saturday. I was in the store for Sharon’s Penny Black die cut class. So I thought I'd take a picture of both of our Facebook demo’ers. Sharon was first with the following. We’re starting with a little follow-up from Wednesday with some completed cards and restocks. First up we have the die set that created these first two cards back in stock. Both are from Concord an 9th.

Next is the box card Sharon constructed from the Pink & Main die set. Sharon hadn't colored her images yet and we didn't have the stamps in yet. We have both now!

Here are Sharon's samples from the Concord & 9th leaf die set and the foils from Sizzix that she used with die/folder technique.

Hopefully you can see the difference in these two cards of the use of foil. The card on the right has the foil.

This is a new die from Sunny Studio that is just pumpkins. Different sizes that have faces or you can do what Kim did and cut the images and create your own dimension with color. Sunny Studios also has a great fall tree you can see to the left.

Pretty Pink Posh dropped a new release. We are pretty sure Kim will be doing a class with some of these. PPP sent us a booklet of photocopied samples of the stamps and dies in this release. You will see them at the end. First is another in their series of seasonal wreathes.

Cute litte mice.

PPP's tree die with leaves.

Cute little critters and pumpkins.

More cute fall animals.

You can always use a good leaf set with multiple varieties with an acorn and mushroom thrown in.

This is a leaf tag set and a script thanks.

Sunflowers.

A great fall border stamp.

PPP also has fall stencils. This is their two piece leaf die and they also have a sunflower stencil in three parts.

Here are some of Pretty Pink Posh's card samples.

Pink Fresh is next with this ornament stamp, die and stencil.

Two background dies from Pink Fresh. These have pinpoints in the intricate designs.

Dress My Craft has this house die. It's a 3D house and Sharon thought Mona could make a cool gingerbread house out of it, What do you think?

Tim Holtz's latest release in his Distress line are these Distress watercolor pencils. The colors are the same as his Distress Ink and Distress Oxide colors. There are three different collections. Each one has a rainbow selection of Distress colors so you get a little of everything in each tin. Remember, Tim has 60+ colors!

Ranger also has two Delusion paints for the season, I belive they have either glitter or shimmer in them.

Ranger also has two holiday specific Distress Crayon packs.

There are two new products from 49th and Market, colored film strips and tickets on a roll, again in a variety of colors. One of our customers, Lucia, was in the store and Sharon gave her a sample of both to see what she could come up with, The very next day she brought this is in. Did I mention how crazy creative Lucia is?! She did this overnight! it has gesso, pastes, ink, stencils lace, and more!

Here are the tickets in almost all their colors. You can see the tickets directly above the 'Place Photo Here' mat.

The photo strips in a wide variety of colors that coordinate with all the 49th & Market papers.

Last for new product is this collection from Vicki Boutin. You can see some of the patterns to the right. This paper is suitable for not only your scrapbooks but also your mixed media projects. We have 12X12, 6X8 along with smaller die cut package and more add-ons.

Last from Sharon are two new classes coming up this month and into October, This first one is a new Pretty Pink Posh Halloween class.

This next one is being offered only once. It's Heartfelt Creations Hollyhocks class. Both are great coloring classes but entirely different.

Mona took over after Show and Tell. She had a few glitches, but we all have days like that.

Mona created a step card using pieces from the following die sets from Creative Expressions. I had a hard time capturing a clear photo of the card and Mona had a hard time as she left major parts of her cards at home! She promised to have the details and dimensions on Friday.

This is one version of the card, unfinished.

She also did the card at the left with several of these dies.

Mona created this card but couldn't decide if she should use the white oval background or the green oval background you see in the card above.

There was also this Boo! card. Multiple dies and it's hard to see but she used the Dylusions paints from above with a splatter technique.

Mona used the die under this envelope as a stencil! Spritz with a seasonal spray and you can decorate your envelopes as well as your cards.

This is the card she is still working on. The phrase is on acetate and she is still deciding where she wants to put it! I thought I was indecisive.

My funny for the day. Read it through, wait for it,

I apologize for this being such a late post. We were out most of Sunday and I was up at 5:30 am Monday morning to watch Queen Elizabeth's funeral. I am a bit of an anglophile and I have great admiration for the Queen. She was an international icon. We will never see the likes of a leader like her again in our lifetime. I was overwhelmed by the crowds that lined the roads first from Scotland to London and again from Westminster to Windsor. The volume of people who stood in line for hours, some for up to 20 hours was simply unbelievable. She devoted her life to the service of her country and it's people. May she rest in peace. Stay Safe everyone.
