Saturday Finds, So Many Photos!

I’ve got lots of new products that arrived in the store this week along with a note regarding Mona’s Friday video.  Mona was in on a Friday and did an hour long video demonstrating the Spellbinders Wax Kit.

Above is how the kit comes. It also has a silicone pad that fits right on top. If you are interested in using one of these kits or just knowing what you can do with wax embellishments, check out Mona’s full video on YouTube under Buffalo Stamps and Stuff. Due to the length and how quickly Mona moves during her presentation it is very difficult for me to get clear, explainable screen shots. It’s much better on YouTube.

Sharon had lots to share on Saturday starting with My Favorite Things. Following up on the video featuring the gift card and money roll-up pouch, here are more dies you can use depending on the occasion of your gift.

Here is another sentiment set that works great for this kind of card. We especially love the sentiment in the center “You are IMPOSSIBLE to Buy For”. Next up is the cassette player and after that the cassette itself. Great for a teenager, boy or girl type cards.

We also have Fairy Lights to use on your cards or projects.

A few odds and ends. New stamps from Woodware. These have a great price point and are fun to color. There is also a lined notebook page stamp that I didn’t get a picture of.

When we think of Pink Fresh we think of Washi tapes, stamps, dies and foil plates. We usually don’t associate PF with paper but this is a layout using Pink Fresh paper, ephemera, die cuts and chipboard.

Pink Fresh also has anew alphabet set. This has two pieces for each letter, an inside emboss layer and an outside cut line.

Spellbinders is next. Anew design from Yana Smakula.

You ALWAYS need to turn around the Spellbinders packaging to double check what you are actually getting. The cover photo can be very deceptive…

We’ve been carrying a lot of Simon Hurley’s mixed media products and this is his Stark White Cardstock. It’s 100 lb. weight, great for all your projects.

We have new ombré metallic snowflake papers. As you tilt the paper you see the ombré effect. We have black to blue, blue to green and purple to pink.

Back in the day all us scrapbookers used to tear their papers to get a jagged edge. I couldn’t do it, I hated it! Then came this handy dandy tool, a deckle ruler. This version has two sides with one being more pronounced and the other more delicate. Just lay your ruler on your paper, hold it down firmly with one hand and with your other hand pull the paper along the edge to create that torn look.

Newton’s Nook has several new stamps and dies.

We also have a new layered stencil from Pink Fresh. Sharon thinks it has a matching stamp and possibly die.

I believe this is Stamperia. These are metallic, embossed pop-outs.They are great for guy cards and easy to use for quick cards. There are several different styles.

Sharon has a new glimmer class coming up. Here are her samples. Dates and a description will be posted shortly.

This is another upcoming class, a box album. Here is the cover, next come all the pages that you will make for the inside.

Once again we have Taylored Expressions mini calendar for 2023. Sharon shared an example from Heidi Hurley.

No photo description available.

Gotta love me some Doodlebug! Here is another new class coming up in February featuring Doodlebug.

Another potential class featuring Simple Stories.

Here is a sample of the layering stencil you will be using in the Taylored Expressions Slim Line Stencil class.

This next project is a kit and it's just stunning. The kit is on order and will be in soon. This is a great gift for a wedding journey. You can start with the engagement and do a photo log of all the preparations leading up to and including the big day,

Another few odds and ends. First is Creative Expressions word die. These dies cut great and have a great price point.

Frantic Stamper with some Love Notes. A cute base for a Valentine's card.

New stamps from Studio Light. The grunge look is here!

New floral panels

Sharon especially likes how they provide a colored picture on the back of the stamp packaging. I've included a few below.

Stamperia also has some new ink pads that Sharon has been using and is liking. They also have sprays, paint, glazes and fixative.

Here is a project made with these products. the mirror frame was created using a mold and distressed and colored using the products above.

It's too important a game for just any funny so I'm repeating myself...SQUISH THE FISH!
That's it for today. There may or may not be a Wednesday video. Sharon has classes this week again showcasing manufacturers new products for spring. So until the next time, everyone Stay Safe and
