Happy Monday!

I have been trying to go through my "collection" of stamps and dies to see which ones I haven't used yet. Sadly, there are quite a few that I have not touched. Now the trick is to use a stamp or die that Sharon also has in stock at the store!

I found an older MFT stamp set that I have had for quite a while and was never sure how I would use it. I know that MFT has discontinued the set but, I checked and there are 6 still available at the store! I am so glad that I took a chance and tried out this stamp set because I found that I loved working with it!!

I posted a picture below of what the set looks like:

As you can see in the picture, the stamps that are used together to make each flower or leaf is encircled by a black line.

The great thing about the stamp set is that I was able to use a few of my IO and Altenew ink cube sets to make these beautiful flowers. Usually, I try so hard to make sure the coloring or the composition of the card is "perfect" but, with this set I just had fun. The colors really make the card! For the background flowers, I used a white pigment ink for the center of the flowers. To set the flowers in the corner of the card apart from the background, I used Versa Fine Clair Nocturne ink. I could have put a sentiment in the middle of the card but, I just wanted to see those beautiful flowers! I do not think that there is a coordinating die for this set but, the images were very easy to fussy cut,

Supplies:

--MFT Painted Flowers

--Altenew Cherry Blossom 4pk ink cubes

--IO Shades of Plum and Shades of Turquoise cube trios

--Versa Fine Clair Nocturne ink

--MFT Prickly Pear and Limelight ink cubes

--Hero Arts Unicorn Pigment ink

-- I think the scalloped rectangle dies that I used are from MFT (?)

I hope that everyone has a great week!--Kim
