I hope everyone had a fun, celebratory July 4th holiday. The weather didn’t cooperate for a good portion of the weekend leading up to the holiday but there were still lots of opportunities for getting together with friends and family. Sharon took the opportunity to have some out of town relatives visit along with little Manny. We skipped several of our videos over that time but we are back today, Saturday, with a little review and lots of new product in the store. We also have a round up of classes coming up and Stamp Camp!
Let’s get started. First up is a little review of some items we may have already shown you starting with Spellbinders dies and foil plates. The versatile poinsettia die with Sharon’s samples and more holiday dies.
To help relieve the heat of the summer, Lawn Fawn’s beverage dies. They also make great shaker cards.
Sharon loves this mini chipboard book by P13, a company from Poland which I believe is designed by a young (teenaged) girl! The pages are already covered in coordinating papers and there are several packages of ephemera add-ons.
Another floral die from Penny Black.
From ALLS CREATE new stamps, just a little bit different.
Sharon often mentions that when we look at stamps and see ANOTHER floral set, look closely at the sentiments included. That stamp set may just be worth it for the perfect words it may contain.
New clear stamps from Grunge.
New combo die/embossing folder from Laura Horton along with holiday die set and more embossing folders.
A new splatter brush.
New fall and holiday collections from Graphic 45. Lovely colors in this fall set featuring pumpkins and leaves. We have 12X12 and 8X8 collection packages, the coordinating solid package and some individual 12X12 pages.
This Christmas collection has classic Santas, deep greens and reds. We also have 8x8 packs and several individual sheets. Sharon reminded us to check out the backside of these papers. You will often find hidden gems. One of my mantras, “Always buy two!”
Waffle flower has a very interesting new product line that may be the next big thing for your Misti’s. Introducing Waffle Flower’s Grip Mats. These mats come in a variety of sizes including one each for both the original and the mini MISTI.
These mats are made of thick polymer similar to your polymer stamps. It allows you to place your paper on the mat and it will hold without the need for magnets! They also come with a grid over/underlay and can also be used with your stencils to keep your paper and stencil in place.
Let me throw in this 6 layer stencil from Honey Bee. It was very hard to see let alone get a screen shot of but it’s a gorgeous landscape image with mountains, a lake, forests etc.
Back to Waffle Flower. They also have a great new inside sentiment stamp set along with titles and front of the card sentiments.
A very useful, multi sentiment Happy Bithday die set. You get two different fonts along with shadow/outline dies for each word.
Remember ATG cards? This die set is ATG sized.
Waffle Flower makes a great selection of basic shape nested die sets. You get between 12-15 nested dies in each set and the bonus with WF is each package has a magnet sheet enclosed. NOTE: there are two square die sets in this photo. They will nest into each other creating even more layered possibilities.
We’ll be having another post featuring this ‘postage’ die set.
This is a new glass/magnetic mat we have. Three came in, one remains although by time this drops it may be gone. Also, Sharon will not ship this item. It must be an indoor purchase due to its size and material.
Last up we have review of several of our upcoming classes. Descriptions and dates are on the website. First up is this Inky class. Learn how to make all these backgrounds!
Spellbinders 3D Flowers
Quilted Pattern Paper Cards
All That Jazz - this is a pencil class.
This is Postal Flowers. The postage rectangle die is included in the class.
Graphic 45 florals, lots of fussy cutting in this one.
This month’s Layout class will be offered at the end of the month.
49 and Market Nature album.
Heartfelt Creations Christmas class.
Watercolor Thursday class
Lastly, check the website for dates for our latest Stamp Camp dates. There was a sneak peek in our latest email and we are offering an evening ZOOM version and two day versions.
We will also be selling tickets to the Stamp Scrap Tour show in Hamburg coming up next month. We will not be exhibiting at the show. Staffing and the amount of work it takes to essentially move the store to the Hamburg Fair Grounds is not possible for us anymore. We will be open the Friday and Saturday of the show.
That’s it for today. Mona will be doing a review and post featuring the new Waffle Flower Grip Mats and Sharon should be back on Wednesday and, of course, next Saturday. Finally, my funny for the post, I wish!
Have a good week everyone as we settle into the heat of summer. My annual summer vacay in the French countryside has begun with my daily following of the Tour de France. My fantasy team is taking a hit but I think I still have the eventual winner on my team. Stay crafty, cool and above all Stay Safe.
