The Unofficial Summer Start

We've had a mixed bag of weather this weekend for the start of the summer season. I spent a good part of my weekend moving my stamp, die, paper, tools, and crafting odds and ends down to our basement. We took a trip to Pittsburgh a few weeks ago and scounted out Kallex units, tables and other storage options at IKEA and I brought ALOT home. I've assembled everything and it's finally time to start the move. I may need a bigger house...

Sharon was back on Wednesday creating cards using AAll & Create's layered Washi tape. I'm starting with Sharon's worktop with a selection of the layered Washi and some of the stamps Sharon will use to enhance the images.

Below is a regular 'Happy Birthday' Washi roll but I want you to look at the roll at the top. Notice it has a little red circle? That labels that roll as a layered Washi tape.
Sharon is using her glass mat to see the placement of the layers of this first roll.
Sharon has also demo'd the flamingo roll.
Sharon has transferred her tapes to a paper base.
Sharon is using This combo die from AAll & Create. It has several different dies that can be used together or individually along with a great numbers set.

In addition to the Washi and stamps, AAll & Create has rub-ons.

Here are a two of Sharon's almost finished cards.

AAll & Create has some funky new stamp sets.

Charlene has made a sample booklet of all the layered Washi tapes from AAll & Create for you to check out.

These should all be on display at the store.
Honey Bee has a new detailed die set that creates this gorgeous iris. The coloring has been done with ink.
We have carried this type of product before and we currently have this hard pressboard USA collection.
We have new Penny Back stamps. These are a favorite for lots of our customers.

Last week we showed the lobster die (one came home with me). This week we have a sea themed embossing folder an a detailed crab die (this one may have to come home with me too!)

A new Hero stamp set with lots of celebratory sentiments.
We also have papers for graduates along with a background stamp that imitates those black and white composition books we all used.

Hero also has new letterpress plates.
Sharon thought she'd try this one out.

She'll work on a card to share next week.
Lots of stamps coming up. First this set from Studio Light.
Next is Lavinia. We have new and several favorites back in stock.

You can use Stickles and Liquid Pearls to make enamel dots.
We have Make Art's stylist tools which can be used to add tiny Stickles and Liquid Pearls dots.

We also have more Nuvo drops.

Another new class featuring Memory Box's Gladiola dies.
This is a new class featuring stencil images. This class is in-store only.

Oops! this is the last class. Sharon's monthly Graphic 45 card class and below it her Graphic 45 layout class

My funny for the post.
The store is back to regular hours starting on Tuesday. Look for emails for our Garage Sale coming up on August 10. It's going to be a little different this year as all the stores along our plaza are full and most are open on Sundays so we are going off site.

Enjoy our warmer weather (?) or stay inside and get crafty and above all Stay Safe everyone. See you next week.
