Two Great Stamping Hacks!

Sharon did a great video Wednesday using Honey Bee Stamps and Dies with a little help from a friend. We don't call Mona the "Die Queen" for nothing! Sharon shares with you Mona's method of helping you to stamp multiples of die cut images. We use this method to stamp 60+ images for many of our card projects for Stamp Camp every year. Check out Wednesday's video and Mona's hack HERE.

The new Cracked Campfire Distress Ink from Ranger is in. This is a must for you lovers of Halloween and Fall. You'll see from Sharon's sample that it is a deep, rich Fall orange.  We have all the different mediums, inks, oxides, refills, sprays, etc. Come and get'em!

The second Hack of the Day is one I've been seeing on Facebook. It's called Chuck or Charlie or any number of things. Best of all it's homemade. Do you have problems pressing down firmly enough on your Misti or other stamp positioner to get a clear, clean, solid image? If so, then you need Chuck. I don't know who came up with this but stampers have been going crazy making homemade 'Chucks'.

You take a block of wood attach a thick piece of felt or those felt disks you put on the feet of your furniture so the feet don't scratch your floor and you use this to press down on the lid of your Misti to help insure a good stamped image. Here are some examples. This first one looks like a knob off a furniture foot. You can see in the second picture that they used a foot cushion from Scotch to put on the bottom, voila! - Chuck!

This next one is quite ingenious. They took the holder you use to play air hockey and placed their felt on the bottom of that!

All you with woodworking husbands. This one's for you! Choose the finial that fits your hand grip best!

I think this one was found on Etsy.

Last but not least of the homemade versions. Many of us have LOTS of extra corks lying around!
Now if you don't have a handy dandy husband (I don't), you can use a dry erase board eraser! This idea is from a Gina K viewer, via Jennifer McGuire. Jennifer tested it out and says "it works!"

That's it for me today. I'm away for a week on a family vacation to the Cape. A bit worried about Covid but I'm told they mask up pretty good in Massachusetts and their infection rate is lower than New York (especially western New York) so I'm crossing my fingers and bringing my own wipes, spray sanitizer, multiple masks, and anti-bacterial soap! What, me worry?!?

I'll leave you with a clue as to some changes in our house and my funny for you. Now, don't laugh. My cocker, Abigail did this to me. At least the car wasn't running...

Have a great week, Happy Crafting and above all - Stay Safe!
