Sharon did a great video Wednesday using Honey Bee Stamps and Dies with a little help from a friend. We don't call Mona the "Die Queen" for nothing! Sharon shares with you Mona's method of helping you to stamp multiples of die cut images. We use this method to stamp 60+ images for many of our card projects for Stamp Camp every year. Check out Wednesday's video and Mona's hack HERE.
The new Cracked Campfire Distress Ink from Ranger is in. This is a must for you lovers of Halloween and Fall. You'll see from Sharon's sample that it is a deep, rich Fall orange. We have all the different mediums, inks, oxides, refills, sprays, etc. Come and get'em!
The second Hack of the Day is one I've been seeing on Facebook. It's called Chuck or Charlie or any number of things. Best of all it's homemade. Do you have problems pressing down firmly enough on your Misti or other stamp positioner to get a clear, clean, solid image? If so, then you need Chuck. I don't know who came up with this but stampers have been going crazy making homemade 'Chucks'.
You take a block of wood attach a thick piece of felt or those felt disks you put on the feet of your furniture so the feet don't scratch your floor and you use this to press down on the lid of your Misti to help insure a good stamped image. Here are some examples. This first one looks like a knob off a furniture foot. You can see in the second picture that they used a foot cushion from Scotch to put on the bottom, voila! - Chuck!
All you with woodworking husbands. This one's for you! Choose the finial that fits your hand grip best!
