BSS IDEA - Acetate Front Card

WELCOME TO THE BUFFALO STAMPS AND STUFF IDEA.

Hi friends. Are you all getting ready for the Holidays?  Trying to
finish my shopping so we can decorate and make cookies.
Did a lot of shopping online this year so that we didn't have
to go into the busy stores.  Our area has been hit hard since
Thanksgiving with more Covid cases and hospitalizations.

This week's card

Stamp - Choir Kids-Penny Black 30-755
Paper - The Four Seasons, WINTER P13 from Poland
Sage green card stock, embossed with a Crafter's Companion
snowflake embossing folder.
Acetate sheet 4/1/4x51/2 inches
Oval die-Spellbinders
Colored with Copics

I started with a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inch top folded card.  I cut the front of the
card off at 1 1/4 inches from the top fold crease.

I attached the acetate to the underside of the 1 1/4 strip at the top.

Cut a 1 1/4 long by 1 1/4 inch wide piece of white card stock to glue
to the back of the acetate to hide the glue when the card is opened.
Add a strip of designer paper 1 1/4" wide by 1 1/4 inch long
to the top and bottom of the card.  Add a white strip at the bottom
inside like you did at the top to hide the glue.

Add your image to the center of your card, I popped mine up.
Make sure you choose an image that will fit between the
top and bottom strips  Cut a piece of coordinating card stock
for the inside of the card.  A sentiment can be added to the
inside, behind the outside image so you don't see it when
the card is closed.

Thanks for stopping by today.
Have a good week.
Stay safe.
