Cranking Out Those Christmas Cards

Have you gotten yours started? Maybe you've even gotten them done. Me, I completed 13 today. Not a lot but I have two styles I'm doing this year, shamelessly copying store cards from Penny Black and Spellbinders. I'm constantly amazed at ladies who come into the store in August and say they've completed their cards, all 55+ of them! Mine aren't even a snowflake on Rudolf's nose for me in summer! I do start to tell myself to get them done earlier in the year and I even start looking at Christmas card samples, stamps and dies that come into the store for inspiration. Usually I have a good idea of what I want to do by the beginning of October but this year I changed my mind about five times and that's not even including there stuff I bought LAST year to do for this year's cards.

I have Sharon's Wednesday Facebook Video  HERE. I was out and haven't had a chance to watch yet.

I also have some new product photos for you from Elizabeth Crafts, My Favorite Things and Avery Elle. Let's see what's up first. Elizabeth Crafts has a new page for you journal makers.

Next is a big release from Avery Elle. Cute, adorable little animals are very in! This set also has a matching die.

Here's a little something to brighten up your cards, Baker's Twine from Avery Elle.

EEK! Is this Valentine's Day I see before me! (I'm not ready!)

I do love a cute little dog!

Florals for Sharon.

A great, large 'thanks' stamp, matching die and smaller coordinating sentiments.

Oooey, gooey, delicious birthday cakes coming your way!

Next I borrowed some sample photos from Mama Elephant for the release we showed last time.

Here are those wooly mammoths, too cute!

We also have the new My Favorite Things release in the house. I'm doing a class featuring the sloths, the momma and baby animals, a fox and a hug or two! This first set is jungle animals and the die is a car.

Here are the sleepy sloths and cute foxes.

I love this designer line! I have almost everyone they have done, if not all of them. This set is especially sweet.

I borrowed a a few samples off their website, just adorable! (I'll be stealing, uhm, borrowing one of these for my class).

Valentine preview coming up! I love the background stamp. It's called Fanfare Background.

I'll be doing this style of box card also, just with different stamps,

That's a lot for today. I'll finish with a funny (that's too true!) and a view of one of my favorite places.

You know I'm a downstater. This is Rockefeller Plaza from above, looking down on the Christmas Tree, at the bottom of the photo, moving up past the skating rink, along the plaza to the lights on the front of Saks. It's a most wonderful time of year!

That's it for today. I need to get back to making my second card and finishing my class samples. With luck all will go out before Christmas and not after New Year's. Happy Crafting everyone and STAY SAFE! (We all have the backs of fridges to visit!)
