A week and a day to go! As always, I wait until last minute to get myself organized, make my final lists and do the shopping that I put off to the end because I don't want food especially to be hanging around too long. My daughter has also but in her two cents (and then some) for what she expects, er wants for dinner.
On to store stuff. Sharon will be sending out an email this week with her holiday hours for the next week or two. I think I've also heard that she has compiled a list of her favorite things if you are looking for holiday gift inspiration.
We're starting with Concord & 9th. This is their Parcel of Petals die that contains lots of floral images and a small envelope to put them in. There is a matching stamp set that is in the second photo.

You can see both in this photo including what you can do with the die set.
There is also a new word and shadow collection with many words you use often.
This die is a four in one. If you look carefully you can see the cut out center piece on the large plate.
Your can use the plate with nothing in the center, with the other floral elements in the center, or with either of the word inserts.
This is a new stencil, Quirky Stripes. The back of the packaging has some samples. There is also a Deco Stencil set.
Lastly we have a new Betterpress plate from Spellbinders.
Lawn Fawn is wasting no time as it came out with its last release of 2023 and is getting a jump on the next holiday with Valentine's stamps, dies, stencils and foil plates. We'll start with quick review of Lawn Fawn's release.
There are three new Washi Tape designs that go with the Valentine's release, mushrooms, rainbow stripes and envelopes.
Lastly for Lawn Fawn, there Ta Da Diorama has this grassy hill add-on.
New papers from the Memory Place. I can see these papers used for baby, wedding, showers, vintage photos, so many options, We have 6X6 pads, 12X12 papers, sticker sheets and cut parts.
Mona was in Saturday morning and showed how the heart box from Lawn Fawn is put together, I took a few photos. I do recommend you check out Lawn Fawn's YouTube channel and search the heart box for their instructions for assembly. They make great videos. Thepiercing plate can be used alone or with the heart box. It will only do the piercing. It will not cut out the heart.
You need to cut out two pieces of the heart. The piece that Mona is pointing to has little diagonal score lines. You can see Mona folding along one of them. When the two hearts are combined, you will be able to join them together at the top of the heart with string to close the heart so your treats don't come out.
My funny for today is compliments of the Campfire Grill on Walden. This was outiside the restaurant.
That's it for Part 2. I'm not sure what next week's schedule is for videos so if I don't post again before next Monday I'll wish you all a very Merry Christmas now. I'm hosting my cousin's family and Lex will be flying in and then flying right back out. I'm hoping while we wouldn't mind a white Christmas, we don't have the blizzard we had last year!
