BSS MONDAY IDEA - Frames and Flowers

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Monday Idea.

Today's card has Frames and Flowers, a great combination.

A simple but elegant Anniversary card, but could be used for any number
of occasions.

I chose the black and white theme to let the flowers pop, but
any number of color combinations would be beautiful.

Closeup of flowers.

Card Recipe

Stamps - JustRite Large Fancy Sentiments (CR-3815)
Papers - Black, white, green and yellow cardstock
Die - Norrland Flower by Memory Box (98505)
I made three.
Spellbinders Large Deckled Mega Rectangle Nestabilities (S5-015)
Cuttlebug Embossing Folder
Card Base is 5x7 inch black carstock
white textured cardstock mat is 4/3/4x63/4 with the second largest die cut from
the center.
Black layer is 43/4x63/4 with third largest die cut from the center
White embossed layer is 3 1/2x51/2.
Run glue runner around back of the black layer and adhere to embossed layer.
run glue runner around back of the white layer and adhere to black layer, making sure to center
it.
If you want to pop up the whole piece on the black card, put mounting tape around
the edge of the white 4 3/4 by 6 3/4 and adhere to the card.
Put the flowers together by sponging with a slightly darker color ink on the edges
and using small pop dots to give them some height.  Sponge leaves.
Stamp words at the bottom of the card, and swirl at the top of the frame
Adhere the flowers to the card ( I used hot melt glue)
Added yellow Stickles to the center of the flowers.
Add ribbon and bow to the left side of the card.

This card has so many possibilities. Different embossing folder, different colors, different die frame shape and different flowers would completely change the entire look of the card.

Hope you have a chance to make a Frame and Flower card.

Thanks for stopping by today.
Have a great week.
