BSS MONDAY IDEA - FANCY FOLD CARD

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Monday Idea.

Do you love fancy fold cards?  Me too!  Here is a neat little card that
is easy to put together and fun to decorate, and so many decorating possibilities.

This is the card closed, with a belly band to keep it closed.
Opps, my belly band is crooked in the picture.

Card opened up.

What I used:

Paper - Light green card stock, Designer paper - Crate Paper 6x6 Pad
Farmhouse
Sentiment Stamp - Penny Black From the Heart Clear Set (30-207)
Inside Stamp - Penny Black Slapstick Cling - From Me to You (40-274)
Daisys - K & Company
Sunflower rhinestones - Queen and Co.
EK Success border punch
Spellbinders dies - Labels Eight Nestabilities (S4-310)

How to make the base card

One piece of 6x12 Card stock
Score at 2", 4", 8" and 10"
On the right side of the paper,
Make a small pencil mark on the left side from the bottom at 2 and 1/4 inches.
Do the same on the right side
Line up the pencil mark on the left edge with the 4 inch score line at the top and cut
off the triangle.  Do the same on the right side edge using the pencil mark at 2 1/4 inches
lined up with the 8" score line at the top.

Accordion fold the card.....2 inch and 10 inch score lines are mountain folds,
and the 4 inch and 8 inch score lines are valley folds.
Decorate the panels as desired.

Make a belly band that will go around the card and still can be slipped off easily.
I made mine 1 inch wide, and trimmed it with a 1/4 inch strip  of the designer paper.

Thanks for stopping by today.
Have a great day.
