BSS IDEA - PINE CONE

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Idea.

Do you love it when the leaves turn beautiful colors of red, gold, and
orange, and the days get cooler?  Me too, but not so much when
they start to fall from the trees and the raking begins.  We have
two old Horse Chestnut trees in our front yard and the chestnuts are
enjoying a bumper crop this year.  Squirrels and young children are
enjoying this fact, me, not so much. I have raked and bagged ten
large clear garbage bags of the chestnuts, their prickly outer shells,
and their massive leaves.  AND, only about half the tree has shed it's
fall bounty.........ugh...

This week, I have a beautiful Pine Cone stamped image
for you.

Stamp - Penny Black - Cones and Berries (40-495)
Paper - Fawn Lawn - Plaid, white card stock.
Frame die is Spellbinders, Branching Out.  I have
had it for awhile so don't know if it is still available.
Using the Misti, Stamped image Using several
colors of brown, starting with the lightest and
using Tombow Brush Markers, added darker
tones on a second stamping where I wanted
them.  Then colored in the rest of the image.
I then inked the image with Versamark Watermark
ink and embossed with clear embossing powder.
This allows you to create the background without
worrying about getting ink on the image.
Background was sponged with light blue
die ink, leaving the center white to add brightness
to the image.
I added Crystal Stickles to the area along the ground
along the branches and pine cone.
White liquid pearls finished it off with lightly
falling snow.
Colored with Copics, card is 5x7 inches.

Thanks for stopping by today.
Have a great week.
