Weekend Follow-up & Wednesday too!

First, it’s great to have Kim back with her inspiration card designs on Mondays! I stopped in the store for the first time in about a month last Friday and did a little damage to my charge card (but I wasn’t done…). Mona did a video Friday afternoon featuring Concord & 9th’s store front die and add-ons. I have a few photos. I also have new product views from Sharon’s Saturday morning video so let’s get started.

First up is Mona’s video featuring this Sizzix die set of a typewriter, a spool of thread and a coffee cup. Mona has used this wonky style from a Sizzix before.

You can see the intended finished images on the back of the packaging.

First up is the typewriter. Mona used googlie eyes for this one.

For this second version Mona used the die that creates the eyes for the typewriter.

Next up is the spool of thread - two ways.

Lastly, the coffee cup two ways, with face and without!

Here are the dies Mona used above and the previous set she featured several weeks ago along with the back of the packaging.

Next up is the Store Front Die Set from Concord & 9th. We are also featuring the Fashion Shoppe and Flower Shoppe set. Remember how I said I wasn't done with my charge card, this is what I bought after the video!

The main Store Front die set. There are plenty of add-ons in this set to create a full, lovely store front without adding the Fashion or Flower sets, but why wouldn't you?!

This is the back of the Fashion Shoppe die where you can see all you get. I want to shop here!

The Store Front is dimensional. First look at it from the front fully open.

If you turn it on it's side you can see the layers.

Here it's folded flat for your envelope. It will fit into an A2 envelope.

Here is what's in the Flower Shoppe add-on.

There is also a small stamp set to create a brick front and a few sentiments to add to your shop.

NOTE: Just a quick follow-up on last week's umbrella die as a shaker. This is Mona's card.

The other part of Concord & 9th's release is a record based release. 45's, 33 & 1/3, Rock and Roll along with the record jackets and the crates we all used to store our records in back in the day, at least in my college days. There are also coordinating stamp sets. Mona will have some samples next week.

Moving on we have some Woodware cuties - gnomes, of course.

Sometimes the gnomes are 'hidden' in the stamp so Sharon decided to color the nose and hands so the gnomes would stand out when she begins coloring the rest of the image.

Several new embossing folders, seashells and then tools below. These folders also come with dies so you can perfectly cut out your embossed images.

Next up is Honey Bee seed packet designs with matching dies.

Small flower blooms, leaves and stems.

Dots and Stripes 6X8 pad.

Lovely Layers - Spring Foliage

Sentiment dies with matching dies.

There was a winter village scene now we have a spring village scene.

Lovely sayings for all year.

We often get requests for vases and this set has a flower box too.

Spring Birds - I love this set! This is where the last of my charge shopping went.

Sorry for the blurry photo but we've gotten in this liquid glue from Spellbinders that Sharon recommends. Then we have more from Spellbinders.

Spellbinders very excellent yellow tape now comes in a 1/4" width.

Sharon did this Spellbinders embossing folder and if it wasn't pretty enough, in the next photo she added shimmer spray. It may be hard to see in the photo but it adds just that little glimmer that kicks your image up to fabulous!

Lastly from Spellbinders and Stampendous is this hummingbird stamp set.

Newton's Nook is last for today (whew!) Great multi-use sentiments, adorable dogs, circle stamps, pick-up  truck beds and of course, Newton.

Sharon did an early video on Wednesday at 12:30. There will be no video on Saturday as Sharon and Mark are driving to Ohio for a convention! For the first time in 2-3 years product conventions/shows are coming  back. Sharon promised a few pop-up videos during their trip and I’m excited to see what’s new and to see some of our favorite faces and company’s new products. There is also a demo at the end of her video that I will preview but as I suggest with Mona’s videos, check out our YouTube channel to see all the details, tips and tricks involved in this fun build.

We’re starting with a review of My Favorite Things including the sets used in the cards Kim shared on Monday. I stole this from MFT’s website because it’s so fun!

Great larger sentiments for your cards. The baby onesie die set is out of stock but more will be coming in.

Great die for pre-teens, teens and any fashionista you know!

Added to this die is the money looper. It can be cut out and attached to a base OR the second die will cut right into your base.

This is the die that makes the pocket at the bottom of the card above for you to place a gift card.

Woodware is up next.

Fun labels, speech bubbles, and more from Aall & Create

New stamps from Aall & Create

Stencils from Aall & Create, Woodware and more.

Several new paper packs.

This is printed vellum paper.

Sharon shared how she made this diorama card using Sizzix’s Stitched Bunnies. I’ll share the finished card, the dimensions and three other cards she made with the Stitched Bunny die set.

This card will fold flat. Open it's A2 sized but closed flat you may need to go to a larger envelope size, maybe an A6.

That’s it for now. Lots of new temptations and inspiration for your Easter and spring cards. For my funny this week I have a question I’ve often thought about.

How’s this for an Easter tree!

Have a great weekend and week ahead. My day began at 9:07am when my husband ceremoniously put out our Yankee flag in honor of opening day. We’re excited about Anthony Volpe, a local boy from Jersey, making his first major league start and of course the Captain, Aaron Judge (who hit his first home run of the season at his first at bat!) PLAY BALL!

Of course, get crafty all you baseball widows out there and above all, Stay Safe!
