Easter, New Product and more…

It was a busy week for all as we approach the Passover and Easter holidays. Sharon spent last weekend at Creativation and the Collins show which ran together in Columbus, OH. I happened to check out a few videos from the show and caught Mark doing a make n’ take at the Altenew booth! Later in this post you will see a card with a pink tree. According to Sharon, Mark made this lovely card BUT he smudged the sentiment. Sharon made him go back to the booth and do it over and that’s the sample you see below.

Let’s get started. First up is Divinity Design. They make a line of faith based stamps that can be used for many occasions.

Next is a mini tour of the store featuring our next card making date, Mother’s Day and more.

This is Spellbinders new Letterpress System, BetterPress. If you are interested give the store a call to reserve one.

Always a favorite and a must have for me, the Score Buddy.

On to snippets from the show. First up is a card Sharon did in a Lawn Fawn class. She said it was easier done than she thought it would be especially since she finds these kind of cards a challenge best left to Mona! Also, be on the look out for a special promotion we will be doing with Lawn Fawn coming up soon!

Sharon thought this die from Hero Arts was something we haven't seen before. As you can see from the card, the die cuts out the center of the front of a card AND it impresses designs and punctures surrounding the opening. Sharon used the several of the smaller rectangle dies in the center to make added embellishments to the center of the card.

Here is Mark's second attempt at this card. This fabulous die is from Altenew and Sharon order a lot!

Spellbinders has a new die that can be used in a wide variety of ways. The leaves, fruits and veggies come from a die set a little fartherbelow.

This is a sweet die set.

Here is the set that created many of the ingredients in the wheelbarrow. Notice you also have a present, a heart, a shamrock, a star and an Easter egg.

Also included in this set is a coordinating stamp set.

OK, I discovered, watching a video from a content provider, that we've been pronouncing the name of one of our favorite companies all wrong. Below is the new Gardinia collection from 49th and Market, right? WRONG! It's 49 and Market! no 'th'!

I'll admit that when I saw the papers in this collection I thought that it wasn't my style and I would struggle creating a layout with these papers. I may have to revise my thinking! Sharon did three layouts in a class with 49 and Market and I really like them and think they would look great with a few photos I have.

Also part of this collection is this great rub-on sheet. Sharon shows how easy and beautiful these rub-ons are to use and enjoy.

Graphic 45 has two new collections they are releasing. The first is a love themed collection called P.S. I Love You.

The second collection is a mermaid inspired collection, Make a Splash.

Next Sharon got inky with Ranger and Dina Wakely.

I'm not a mixed media gal but I do like some of these alcohol ink pieces. Sharon said they used Tim's air sprayer in making these samples.

I wasn't sure if I had posted this before but if I did, don't care! These guys are too cute, Puggles!

Have a happy Easter weekend or Passover everyone. I'll be back after Sharon's Saturday morning video. I understand there will be some MFT goodies among other things. Stay crafty and I'll see you soon.
